Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly has ruled out the sale of their midfielder Imam Ashour amid transfer links.
The 26-year-old, who has been impressive in the ongoing campaign was initially linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
Aside Saudi Arabia links, the talented midfielder was a subject of interest for a Libyan club but Al Ahly turned down a move.
Imam Ashour has established himself as a key cog to Al Ahly this season. However, the club will not engage in transfer negotiation with any club until the revised FIFA Club World Cup is over.
He is said to be aware of his value to the Egyptian giants and will not even fancy a move away from the club.
The midfielder has racked up 9 goals and provided 3 assists from 13 games in the Egyptian Premier League campaign.
In all competitions, the talented midfielder has made 23 appearances, scoring three goals and providing four assists across the period.
