Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly have opened negotiations to extend contract of in-demand defender, Rami Rabia.
The experienced centre-back’s contract expire at the end of the 2024/25 football campaign.
Rabia received an offer from Saudi Pro League outfit Al Fateh and expressed desire to depart Al Ahly in the ongoing transfer window.

Jose Gomez, who is a former coach of Zamalek has been a longtime admirer of the Al Ahly and wanted to add him to Al Fateh squad this window.
But Al Ahly, who are determined to keep their star defender as they prepare for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup as turned the move.
Rami Rabia has made 10 appearances in the Premier League campaign, scoring one goal across the period.
