Al Ahly have named Ashraf Dari and Mohamed Tawfik in their starting line-up for the Cairo derby against Zamalek in the sixth round of the Egyptian League.
The two sides meet at Cairo Stadium at 20:00, with Al Ahly third in the table on 13 points. Zamalek are second with the same number of points, but sit above their rivals on goal difference. Pyramids lead the standings on 15 points.
Dari and Mohamed Tawfik are making their first starts for Al Ahly in the league. Both players featured in the club’s victory over Asyut Petroleum in the Egyptian League Cup a few days ago.
Akram Tawfik starts in midfield alongside Marwan Attia and Emam Ashour, while Moroccan forward Soufiane Benjedida leads the attack.

Hussein El Shahat is among the substitutes, with Al Ahly’s bench also including Mohamed El Shenawy, Hady Riyad, Taher Mohamed Taher, Ahmed Reda, Monsef Bekar, Omar El Sاعي, Mohamed “Afsha” Magdy and Karim Fouad.
Omar Moawad, Aqtay Abdallah, Hamza Alaa, Mohamed Abdallah and Ali Mahmoud have been left out of the squad for the match.
