Rising Al Ahly midfielder Belal Mohamed Attia is set to showcase his talent in Germany after earning a two-week trial with Bundesliga side Stuttgart.
The 19-year-old, a standout for both Al Ahly’s youth team and Egypt’s national youth side, has been cleared by club officials to travel to Germany following persistent interest from the Stuttgart camp.
Kooora reports that Stuttgart initially approached Al Ahly with a request for trials involving both Belal Attia and teammate Hamza Abdelkarim. The Egyptian giants was hesitant at first, unsure about parting ways with two of their brightest young stars.
However, Stuttgart’s continued push convinced Al Ahly to approve Attia’s trip.
In anticipation of a successful trial, both clubs have already agreed on key terms for a future transfer. Most notably, Al Ahly will be entitled to 30% of any future loan or permanent deal involving Attia, alongside immediate financial compensation.
The opportunity marks a potential breakthrough in Attia’s career and reflects Al Ahly’s growing reputation as a talent hub drawing attention from Europe’s top leagues.
