African football giants Al Ahly are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Egyptian defender Mostafa El Aash as part of plans to bolster their squad.
El Aash, who currently plies his trade with Egyptian Premier League side ZED, has emerged as one of the most promising defensive talents in the league.
The 24-year-old joined ZED from Ghazl El Mahallah in a €600,000 transfer and has quickly established himself as a vital player in the squad.
Known for his defensive solidity, tactical awareness, and ability to advance the play from the back, El Aash has attracted the attention of several local clubs.
Al Ahly’s interest in the left-footed defender is no surprise, given his strong performances this season.
According to information gathered, the Cairo-based club views him as a key addition to their roster as they prepare for future challenges, including the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup under the guidance of Swiss coach Marcel Koller.
El Aash, who is under contract with ZED until June 2028, is currently valued at €600,000, according to Transfermarkt.
A move to Al Ahly would not only enhance his career prospects but also position him on a larger stage in African football.
