Al Ahly handed massive injury boost as striker Wissam Abu and Ashraf Dari returns to training ahead of Ismaily showdown

Palestinian striker Wissam Abu and Ashraf Dari have returned to full-scale training at Al Ahly, boosting the Egyptian powerhouse ahead of their clash with Ismaily.

The duo missed a couple of games after succumbing to injuries. Having regain full fitness, Wissam Abu and Ashraf Dari are expected to play a vital role for Al Ahly in the upcoming clash against Ismaily.

Al Ahly will take on Ismaily in a crunch clash on Sunday in matchday 14 of the Egyptian Premier League.

Despite full recovery, manager Marcel Koller will have to make a decision as to whether the duo will be included in the matchday squad.

Meanwhile, Taher Mohamed remains absent and is set to undergo a medical examination on Friday, February 14, 2025 to determine his return to training.

Al-Ahly are currently second on the league standings, accumulating 29 points, one point behind leaders, Pyramids.
