Al Ahly have received encouraging news from the treatment room as key players continue their return to full fitness during pre-season.
A club source revealed on Tuesday that winger Hussein El-Shahat is now back in training after missing the camp in Tabarka, Tunisia, due to a calf strain. “El-Shahat gradually participated in Tuesday’s morning training session,” the source told Kooora, confirming his steady recovery.
Defender Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, who limped off late during Al Ahly’s 4-1 win over Stade Tunisien on Monday, was diagnosed with only a minor ankle bruise after undergoing scans. “He is scheduled to gradually participate in training tomorrow,” the source added.
Meanwhile, midfielder Emam Ashour continues his recovery from collarbone surgery. The source said the player is expected to begin training in about two weeks.
There’s more good news for fans, as Marwan Attia has resumed light physical work following a hernia operation.
With several stars on the mend, the Red Devils will be hoping to start the new season with a strong and fit squad ready to defend their dominance.
