Ethiopian international striker Said Saladin has made a move to Egyptian champions Al Ahly. The captain of the Antelopes of Walya has signed a three-year contract with the Red Devils after his contract with Wadi Degla expired.
Saladin’s departure from Wadi Degla marks the end of his tenure with the club, which finished third last season and participated in its first continental cup this year. Despite Wadi Degla’s elimination from the CAF Cup after a penalty shootout loss to Djoliba AC in the third round, Saladin now joins the ranks of the reigning champions.
The 25-year-old forward is set to represent Al Ahly until 2017.
