Al Ahly have been linked with a move for Morocco midfielder Osama Nourddine of Maghreb Fes, following a recommendation from manager Hussein Ammouta, according to reports in the Moroccan media.
The 25-year-old is under contract with Maghreb Fes until the summer of 2030, but the club have reportedly set a minimum asking price of $1.5m before they will begin negotiations over his departure.
The details were published by Moroccan newspaper Al Mountakhab, which said Nourddine had emerged as a potential target for Al Ahly after being put forward by Ammouta.
Ammouta has been in charge of Al Ahly since the start of the current season, when he succeeded Danish manager Jes Thorup.
Nourddine began his career with Moroccan club Chabab Mohammedia before moving abroad for a spell with United Arab Emirates side Khor Fakkan. He later returned to the Moroccan league.
He rejoined Maghreb Fes in the summer of 2025 and helped the club win last season’s Moroccan league title.
Al Ahly have already signed another player from Maghreb Fes during the current season, bringing in Sufian Benjida.
