Al Ahly confirm injury blow for Youssef Belamri after medical scans

Al Ahly’s team doctor, Dr. Ahmed Jaballah, has confirmed that Youssef Belamri has suffered a first-degree tear at the origin of the left adductor muscle following medical scans conducted by the club.

According to the club’s medical report, the midfielder will now begin a structured physiotherapy and rehabilitation programme aimed at facilitating his recovery and return to full fitness in the coming weeks.

Belamri was absent from Al Ahly’s friendly encounter against ZED FC at El Tetsh Stadium, having been ruled out after reporting discomfort.

The player subsequently underwent a full medical assessment under the supervision of the club’s medical team, which confirmed the extent of the injury.
