Al Ahly complete first summer signing with Ali Mahmoud arrival from Enppi
Al Ahly have completed their first signing of the summer transfer window after securing the services of Ali Mahmoud from Egyptian Premier League side Enppi.
Mahmoud penned a five-year contract with Al Ahly, keeping him at the club until 2030. The enterprising midfielder is expected to play a huge role for the Egyptian giants as they seeks to make a meaningful impact next season, having struggled last term.
The 23-year-old’s move to the Cairo giants comes as part of the club’s strategy to reinforce key areas of the squad and provide new options for the technical team ahead of a demanding campaign.
The Al Ahly management identified the Enppi player as a valuable addition due to his qualities and potential, with the club hoping he can make a strong impact at the highest level.
The signing also represents the beginning of Al Ahly’s activity in the current summer transfer market, as the club continues preparations for the new season under newly appointed head coach Hussein Ammouta.
With Mahmoud now officially an Al Ahly player, expectations will be high for the new recruit to justify the confidence placed in him and contribute to the club’s pursuit of more trophies.
