Al Ahly closes first membership phase for New Mansoura branch
Al Ahly has closed the first phase of applications for membership of its planned branch in New Mansoura, marking the latest step in the club’s expansion outside its existing sites.
The club announced the end of the initial membership phase through its official website. It also confirmed that a major celebration will be held at the New Mansoura branch on 4 September to mark the occasion.
The event will feature Egyptian artists Wegz and Lege-C, while a number of Al Ahly’s former stars are also expected to attend.
Al Ahly laid the foundation stone for the New Mansoura project several weeks ago. The site will become the club’s fifth branch, adding to its existing network of facilities across Cairo and Giza.
The club’s current branches are its main headquarters in Gezira, alongside branches in Nasr City, Sheikh Zayed and the Fifth Settlement and New Cairo area.
Al Ahly has also announced the membership price for the New Mansoura branch. The full cost is set at 320,000 Egyptian pounds, with applicants required to pay an initial contract deposit equivalent to 10% of the total membership fee.
The remainder will be paid in instalments over three years. According to the club, payments will be made quarterly.
Applications for membership of the New Mansoura branch are submitted through Al Ahly’s official website.
The closure of the first application phase comes as the club prepares to formally mark progress on the new branch with the 4 September celebration. The event will combine the membership announcement with appearances from former Al Ahly players and performances by Wegz and Lege-C.
New Mansoura is therefore set to become the latest location connected to Al Ahly’s expanding branch structure. The club currently operates four branches, with its principal base in Gezira and additional facilities in Nasr City, Sheikh Zayed and the Fifth Settlement and New Cairo area.
The New Mansoura branch will be the fifth Al Ahly site once construction is completed. The club has not announced any further membership phases beyond the initial period, but has set out the payment terms for those seeking to join through its official online platform.
Applicants are required to meet the 10% advance-payment condition, while the remaining balance is spread across 12 quarterly payments over the three-year instalment period. The total membership cost remains 320,000 Egyptian pounds.
