Club President Mahmoud Al-Khatib has approved special financial rewards to push the team toward the knockout rounds after a goalless draw in their opening match against Inter Miami.
The Egyptian giants are preparing for a crucial clash against Brazil’s Palmeiras on Thursday, followed by a group showdown with Portugal’s Porto on June 24. Al-Khatib, addressing the squad via Zoom, made it clear that success in these upcoming fixtures won’t go unrewarded.
A source told Kooora that each player will receive one million pounds for a win in each of the next two games. If Al Ahly secures qualification to the round of 16, the bonus will climb to a record-setting 3 million pounds per player.
