Al Ahly attacker Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet escapes financial punishment

Al Ahly forward Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet has escaped financial punishment despite his gestures in the Egyptian Premier League clash against Enppi SC.

The 30-year-old winger showed a gesture of silence as his outfit played out a 1-1 draw against Enppi SC in matchday six of the top-flight on Sunday at the Arab Contractors Stadium.

Trezeguet was entitled to a financial punishment, but the Egyptian giants has freed him, while him against further breaches. The forward now risk of double penalty should he repeat similar behaviour in subsequent matches.

As a sign of support, the Egyptian football heavyweight has entreated Trezeguet not to be distracted by issues surrounding him on social media.

Meanwhile, the enterprising attacker pledged to do his best to lead the team to victory, while focusing only on the field. The 30-year-old attacker has made five appearances in the Premier League for Al Ahly, scoring one goal across the period.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Ceramica Cleopatra next Friday, in the seventh round of the Egyptian Premier League.
