Egyptian giants Al Ahly have confirmed the signing of Egyptian youngster Yassin Marei.
The club announced the acquisition of the defender in an official statement on Monday, July 14.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Yassin Marei, on a five-year contract from Pharco FC.
“We wish all the best for our new defender in his journey with the Eagles,” Al Ahly said in their statement.

Yassin Marei played in the Zamalek youth team before leaving on loan in 2021 to Pharco, where his contract was purchased at the end of the season.
He established himself as a key member of the Pharco squad, making a total of 59 matches in the Egyptian League, scoring two goals and making one assist. He also played three matches in the Egypt Cup.
He is joining Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo”, Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet”, Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, Ahmed Ramadan “Beckham”, and goalkeeper Mohamed Ahmed, who have already secured a move to Al Ahly this summer.
