Akram Bouras: Olympiacos linked with Levski Sofia midfielder

Algerian midfielder Akram Bouras is being linked with a move from Levski Sofia to Olympiacos.

Bouras, 24, joined the Bulgarian club from MC Algiers on 30 August 2025 and helped Levski Sofia win the Bulgarian title in his first season. The central midfielder has a reported market value of €2m.

The potential move would see Bouras leave Bulgaria for Greece and join Super League 1 side Olympiacos. No transfer fee or agreement has been confirmed, and the rumour does not indicate that negotiations have reached an advanced stage.

Born in Ain Azel, Algeria, Bouras developed his career in his home country before moving abroad. He won four Algerian league titles, including one with MC Algiers in the 2024-25 season, and also lifted the Algerian Cup and Algerian Super Cup during his time there.

His arrival at Levski Sofia came shortly before the start of the 2025-26 campaign, and he remains under contract with the club. That deal is due to expire on 30 June 2028, meaning Levski would not be facing an imminent free-transfer departure should Olympiacos pursue the midfielder.

Bouras is currently registered as a Levski Sofia player, with any move to Olympiacos still at the rumour stage.
