Akram Abdel-Magid backs Pyramids FC’s title credentials after impressive season
Former Akram Abdel-Magid has heaped praise on Pyramids FC for their outstanding performances this season, highlighting the team’s depth and growing dominance under head coach Krunoslav Jurčić.
Speaking in a televised interview, the ex-Zamalek SC forward described Pyramids as the standout side in Egyptian football at present.
He pointed to the squad’s balance across all departments, noting that both domestic and foreign players have contributed significantly to the club’s rise.
According to Abdel-Magid, one of the team’s greatest strengths lies in its depth, with little difference in quality between the starting lineup and those on the bench—an asset he believes has been key to their consistency.
He further credited Jurčić for instilling a winning mentality within the squad, arguing that the coach has transformed Pyramids into genuine title contenders.
With just two matches remaining, Abdel-Magid suggested it would be difficult for the team to falter, given their current form and champion-like character.
