Ahmed Shobier, former goalkeeper for Al Ahly and the Egyptian national team, has disclosed the latest developments in the club’s negotiations with three prominent players as part of their anticipated summer transfer dealings.
Speaking in a radio interview, Shobier revealed, “Coach Marcel Koller is determined to sign a left-back following Ali Maaloul’s injury. Regarding Moroccan player Yahya Attiatallah, discussions are ongoing between the planning committee and Koller.
We are waiting for full assurance that the player is a hundred percent convinced.”
Shobier continued, stating, “Youssef Aymen, the Qatari national team player, is ready, and an agreement has been finalized.
We are now awaiting Koller’s final approval in coordination with Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president, and the football planning committee.”
Regarding Algerian defender Zinedine Belaid, Shobier added, “He has not signed with any Belgian or European club yet, but the situation has not yet been finalized after Al Ahly completed all formalities.”
