Pyramids FC have strengthened their attack with the signing of Algerian striker Ahmed Nadir Ben Bouali from Hungarian side Győr Torna Ósztali ahead of the new season.

The Egyptian club announced the arrival of the 26-year-old through a promotional video featuring Ben Bouali as a warrior travelling on horseback from the Algerian desert towards Egypt before arriving near the Pyramids.

The unveiling ended with the striker revealing his face and confirming his move to the Egyptian club.

Ben Bouali signs three-year deal

The transfer had already been agreed between Pyramids and Ben Bouali, who is set to sign a three-year contract with an option to extend it for another season.

His arrival is expected to help fill the attacking void left by Congolese forward Fiston Mayele, who departed Pyramids at the end of last season.

The move gives Pyramids another African attacking option as the club prepares for the new campaign.

Algerian striker arrives with scoring record

Ben Bouali previously played for Belgian club Charleroi before moving to Hungary.

During his time with Győr Torna Ösztali, he made 41 appearances, scoring 19 goals and providing six assists.

The Algerian had not featured for his Hungarian club since the beginning of the current season before completing his transfer to Pyramids.

Pyramids target stronger campaign

Pyramids finished second in the Egyptian league last season behind champions Zamalek and will be looking to improve on that result in the new campaign.

Ben Bouali’s signing is therefore an important addition to the squad, with the Algerian forward expected to compete for a leading role in Pyramids’ attack.
