Ahmed Nadeer Ben Bouali scored after only 15 seconds to give Pyramids the fastest goal in the history of the Egypt Capital Cup.
The Algerian striker found the net against Al Qanah in the opening round of the group stage, putting Pyramids ahead in their first match of the competition.
Ben Bouali combined with Ahmed Atef “Qotta” before finishing the move and beating the Al Qanah goalkeeper for the opening goal.
Pyramids are in Group B alongside Smouha, National Bank of Egypt, Modern Sport and Al Qanah.
The club also lead the Egyptian Premier League with 15 points from five victories, maintaining a perfect record.
