Ahmed Mostafa Zizo’s injury leaves Al Ahly worried
Ahmed Mostafa Zizo’s sudden injury has left Al Ahly shaken, with the team now bracing for his absence in the coming weeks.
The influential midfielder picked up a knock during the clash with Enppi on Sunday, forcing him off after just 15 minutes. Without his presence, Al-Ahly could only manage a 1-1 draw in the sixth round of the Egyptian League.
The early setback has sparked concern within the club. A medical report confirmed that Zizo will be out for at least three weeks. Team doctor Ahmed Gaballah explained that the player “felt pain in his upper thigh and adductor, which prompted the medical staff to replace him.”
His absence could prove costly. A source told Kooora that Al Ahly will likely be without Zizo for four crucial fixtures against Ceramica Cleopatra, Haras El-Hodoud, Zamalek, and Ismailia Electricity.
With only 6 points from 5 games, Al Ahly sits 15th in the league table, far from their usual standards. The fans now wait anxiously, hoping Zizo’s recovery comes quicker than expected.
