Ahmed Mostafa Zizo moves to protect family after fan abuse
Ahmed Mostafa Zizo is taking a stand after facing insults from Zamalek fans during their match against Ceramica Cleopatra at Suez Stadium in the opening round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The Al Ahly winger, who once wore Zamalek’s colors, has decided the abuse went too far.
A club source told Kooora that Al Ahly is preparing two formal complaints, one to the Egyptian Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee and another to the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association. The move comes as the player’s family also steps in to seek justice.
“Zizo’s father contacted the player’s lawyer and decided to file a complaint with the Attorney General regarding the violations against the player and his family, stressing that he would not tolerate any form of abuse,” the source said.
For Zizo, the focus remains on football. He is leaving the legal fight to his father and lawyer, channeling his energy into helping Al Ahly in their league campaign, even as the off-field storm gathers momentum.
