Ahmed Hassan: Egypt striker joins El Obour on free transfer
Egyptian centre-forward Ahmed Hassan has joined El Obour on a free transfer from Team FC, completing his move to the Egyptian club on 9 August 2026.
The 30-year-old has agreed a contract running until 30 June 2027, linking him with El Obour for the remainder of the current season and the next campaign. Hassan’s arrival gives the club an experienced attacking option in the centre-forward position, with the player joining after ending his spell with Team FC.
Hassan is a right-footed striker and stands 1.72m tall. His preferred role is as a centre-forward, placing him at the focal point of El Obour’s attack following the switch between the two Egyptian clubs.
The transfer was completed without a fee, with Hassan moving directly from Team FC to El Obour. His change of club was recorded on 9 August, and he is now listed as an El Obour player under a contract that expires in June 2027.
Born on 9 December 1995, Hassan brings domestic experience to his new side at a stage of his career when his role is clearly defined. He has represented clubs in Egypt and now continues his career with El Obour, where he will operate as a central attacking player.
The move also represents a straightforward transition for Hassan, who has changed clubs within Egypt rather than moving abroad. His nationality and playing position remain central to the transfer, with the striker joining El Obour to continue his career in the country.
El Obour have secured Hassan’s services on a free transfer, and the Egyptian forward’s contract with the club runs until 30 June 2027.
