Ahmed Beji: Tunisia striker joins ES Metlaoui from Al-Entesar on permanent deal

Tunisia striker Ahmed Beji has joined ES Metlaoui from Saudi Arabian side Al-Entesar, returning to Ligue 1 on a permanent move with a contract running until 30 June 2027.

The 29-year-old forward, who stands at 1.79m, completed the switch on 29 July 2026 and immediately adds attacking depth to the Etoile Sportive Metlaoui squad ahead of the new campaign. It marks a swift return to Tunisian football after his stint in Saudi Arabia.

Beji moved to Al-Entesar in January 2026 following a free transfer from Stade Tunisien, where he had been on the books since the summer of 2024. During his time with Stade Tunisien he also spent a loan spell at JS Kairouan in the 2024–25 season before returning to his parent club at the end of that campaign.

Across domestic and continental competitions, Beji has experience in the Tunisian top flight, the Tunisian Cup and the CAF Confederation Cup. His record includes appearances in Ligue 1 and a goal in continental competition, underlining his familiarity with both local and regional stages.

Born on 5 April 1997, Beji now enters what could be a key period of his career with a deal that ties him to ES Metlaoui for at least one full season. The move finalises his departure from Al-Entesar and confirms his latest chapter back in Tunisian football.
