Egyptian centre-back Ahmed Abdelrahman has joined FC Masar from Dayrout SC, strengthening the club’s defensive options ahead of the new campaign. The 27-year-old, who stands at 1.90m and plays primarily as a right-footed central defender, completed his move on 14 July 2026.

Abdelrahman arrives at Masar after a spell with Dayrout SC, where he moved in February 2025. His switch continues a steady rise through Egyptian football, with the Alexandria-born defender now set to anchor the back line at his new club.

Before his time at Dayrout, Abdelrahman spent part of the 2024-25 season with Cleopatra FC following a move from Raya SC in January 2025. That followed a two-year stint at Raya, which he joined from Alex. Petrolium at the start of 2023. His career path has seen him gain experience across several Egyptian sides, building a reputation as a specialist in the heart of defence.

Born on 5 December 1998 in Alexandria, Abdelrahman fits the profile of a physically imposing central defender, combining height with experience gathered across multiple teams. His ability to operate as a dedicated centre-back is expected to be his primary role at FC Masar.

Abdelrahman’s transfer from Dayrout SC to FC Masar is a completed deal, with the defender now officially registered as a Masar player.
