Mohamed El-Garhy, a member of the Al Ahly club’s board of directors and head of the football team’s delegation in Algeria, made it a point to respond to the invitation of Dr. Moataz Waridah, Egypt’s Ambassador to Algeria, on Thursday evening.
This occurred on the sidelines of the first team’s presence in the Algerian capital to face CR Belouizdad in the African Champions League.
The Ahly delegation during the visit included Tarek Qandil, a member of the Red Team’s board of directors, Brigadier General Alaa Salah, the security coordinator, Samir Adly, the administrative manager, and the accompanying media delegation.
The visit featured a friendly discussion about sports in general and Ahly’s various missions in different games in particular.
The Egyptian Ambassador to Algeria emphasized that Al Ahly, as usual, has shown an honorable face with its commitment and system. He expressed the Egyptian diplomacy’s constant joy at its presence.
He stated that Al Ahly has transcended the local stage and has become a global club in every sense of the word.
He affirmed that Al Ahly’s multiple successes in various aspects indicate its distinction and its adherence to the latest management methods for continuous development and progress.
For his part, Mohamed El-Garhy, the head of the delegation, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Moataz Waridah for his generous hospitality and the Egyptian Embassy’s keenness in Algeria to accompany Al Ahly’s delegation since its first day of arrival.
He noted that this is not strange to Egyptian diplomacy, which supports all of Al Ahly’s missions in various countries and harnesses all its capabilities to provide the atmosphere that achieves successes.
At the end of the visit, Mohamed El-Garhy presented the Ahly shield and flag to Ambassador Moataz Waridah.
