African transfer roundup: Atibu leaves TP Mazembe for CS Constantine as Bouhoudane nears PSV exit

Johnson Atibu has completed a move to Algerian top-flight club CS Constantine after five years with TP Mazembe, while PSV Eindhoven are close to reaching an agreement with SC Cambuur over the transfer of Moroccan striker Sami Bouhoudane.

Atibu, a central defender from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has signed a two-year contract with CS Constantine. His agreement will keep him at the Algerian club until 30 June 2028.

Bouhoudane is an 18-year-old centre-forward who was part of the squad of the reigning champions at PSV Eindhoven. His opportunities to establish himself in the first team were limited, making a move to SC Cambuur a possible next step in his development.

The Moroccan striker’s expected transfer would take him from PSV Eindhoven to SC Cambuur, based in Leeuwarden. While the remaining details must still be resolved, the two clubs are close to finalising the agreement.
