Senegal delivered a commanding performance to thrash Morocco 4-0 and secure a place in the final of the African Nations Championship for Under-15s, currently taking place in Zimbabwe.

The Senegalese side wasted no time asserting their dominance, racing into a stunning 3-0 lead within the opening seven minutes and leaving the young Atlas Lions struggling to recover from the early onslaught. Their attacking intensity continued throughout the first half, with a fourth goal added in the 28th minute to cap a ruthless display.

Morocco were unable to respond, as Senegal maintained control of the game and comfortably saw out the victory to book their place in the final.

Senegal will now face Uganda in the final after Uganda edged past Benin 4-3 on penalties in the other semi-final.

The result further highlights Senegal’s growing strength in youth football, as they continue to build on recent successes at the continental level. The West African nation had previously claimed the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title with a 1-0 victory over Morocco after extra time.

However, that triumph remains under dispute after the Confederation of African Football later decided to withdraw the title from Senegal and award it to Morocco. The decision prompted Senegal to take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, where a final ruling is still pending.

With momentum firmly on their side, Senegal will head into the final full of confidence, aiming to crown their impressive campaign with another continental title.
