French Ligue 1 outfit, AS Monaco are sweating over the fitness of African rooted trio of Ansu Fati, Lamine Camara and Maghnes Akliouche ahead of their crucial Champions League playoff against Paris Saint Germain.
The Principality outfit will play host to the defending champions in the first leg of the UEFA’s elite club competition on Tuesday night.
But Monaco have fresh injury concerns as the team gears up for the titanic clash against Luis Enrique side.
Maghnes Akliouche, a France international, who has Algerian root was forced off with a hip injury during the 3-1 win over FC Nantes on Friday night.
Besides, Senegal international Lamine Camara also suffered an ankle injury and had to be subbed off from the match, with Ansu Fati also carrying a quadriceps injury.
At the pre-match conference, Monaco manager Sébastien Pocognoli casted doubts about the availability of the trio
Meanwhile, Monaco are expected to conduct further test on three players to determine their fate ahead of the PSG showdown.
There are no returnees for the Principality club either. Christian Mawissa is nearing a return and has been training with his teammates, but the club are cautious and will not rush him back. His absence against PSG has been confirmed.
