The United States is set to navigate a challenging path in the 2024 Olympic Women’s Soccer Tournament in France.

Placed in Group B, they will encounter formidable opponents such as Germany, Australia, and either Morocco or Zambia, depending on the outcome of the playoff.

The USA, ranked fourth globally, kicks off their campaign on July 25 against either Morocco or Zambia, followed by clashes against Germany and Australia on July 28 and July 31, respectively.

The USA faces familiar adversaries in Germany and Australia, with whom they have shared intense rivalries on the world stage.

With only six teams returning from the 2021 Olympics and the addition of strong European contenders like France, Spain, and Germany, the competition promises excitement.

As the journey unfolds, the USA aims to replicate past successes and vie for another shot at Olympic glory in Paris 2024.

Drawn into Group A with host France were Colombia, Canada, and New Zealand.

Group B will consist of Spain, Japan, Brazil, and the other CAF qualifier, which will be either Nigeria or South Africa.

Here are the groups:
