The bonus scale for the 2012 Champions League final between ES Tunis and Al Ahly, scheduled to take place in Cairo in November, has been announced by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The financial rewards for the participating teams are as follows:
- Winner (ES Tunis or Al-Ahly): $1.425 million.
- Finalist (ES Tunis or Al-Ahly): $950,000.
- Semi-finalists (TP Mazembe and Sunshine Stars): $665,000.
- 3rd in the groups (ASO Chlef and Berekum Chelsea): $475,000.
- 4th in pool B (Zamalek): $380,000.
ASO Chlef, securing the third position, is guaranteed to receive a check for $475,000. These significant financial incentives add an extra layer of competition and motivation for the participating teams in the Champions League.
