As of now, three African countries have qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil:
- Nigeria: Nigeria secured qualification by defeating Ethiopia with a 2-0 victory, following a 4-1 win in the first leg.
- Ivory Coast: Ivory Coast eliminated Senegal with a 1-1 draw, having won the first leg 3-1.
- Cameroon: Cameroon left no chance for Tunisia, winning 4-1 in the second leg and securing their place in Brazil.
Two more matches are yet to be played:
- Algeria vs. Burkina Faso: The first leg ended with Burkina Faso winning 3-2, making the second leg crucial.
- Ghana vs. Egypt: Ghana dominated in the first leg, winning 6-1, making the second leg less significant in terms of qualification.
These matches will determine the final African teams to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
