Afimico Pululu scores again for Jagiellonia

Congolese striker Afimico Pululu scored once more for Jagiellonia Białystok, but his effort was not enough to prevent a 2-1 home defeat to Górnik Zabrze on matchday 30 of the Polish league.

Pululu’s latest goal underlined his consistent form in front of goal, as he once again delivered at a crucial moment for his side.

With the match nearing its conclusion, Jagiellonia appeared set to salvage a point when the forward found the equaliser late in regular time.

The goal shifted momentum and briefly revived hopes for the home side, who had been chasing the game for much of the contest.

Pululu’s intervention seemed to have secured a valuable result in a tightly contested encounter.

However, the outcome changed dramatically in the closing moments. Górnik Zabrze were awarded a penalty shortly after the equaliser and made no mistake from the spot, restoring their lead and leaving Jagiellonia with no time to respond.

Despite the defeat, Pululu’s individual performance stood out once again. The Congolese forward has maintained an impressive level throughout the season, continuing to contribute both goals and assists for his team.

His latest strike adds to an already strong record, with 18 goals and seven assists in 43 appearances across all competitions this campaign, including 12 goals in the league. These numbers reflect his growing importance within the squad.

As Jagiellonia push to remain competitive at the top end of the table, Pululu has emerged as one of their key attacking figures.

His ability to influence matches at decisive moments continues to offer his team a reliable threat in the final third, even when results do not go in their favour.
