Afimico Pululu: Jagiellonia forward linked with surprise Wieczysta switch in Poland

DR Congo‑French centre-forward Afimico Pululu is being linked with a move from Polish Ekstraklasa side Jagiellonia Bialystok to ambitious Betclic 1 Liga club Wieczysta Kraków.

The 27-year-old, valued at €4.00m on Transfermarkt, currently wears the number 10 shirt for Jagiellonia but has no publicly listed contract expiry date, fuelling talk that he could yet become a free agent if his situation in Bialystok is not resolved. The reported probability of the transfer remains unclear and is listed simply as “?”, underlining the speculative nature of the move.

Pululu, a left-footed centre-forward standing at 1.75m, holds dual nationality with DR Congo and France and was born in Luanda on 23 March 1999. He is registered in Poland’s top flight with Jagiellonia, but Wieczysta, who play in the second tier, are thought to be exploring whether they can structure a deal that capitalises on his current market valuation rather than paying a premium fee.

Recent data places Pululu firmly in Jagiellonia’s attacking ranks, with the forward featuring in the Ekstraklasa this season. In his most recent outing for Jagiellonia – a league match against domestic opponents in the Ekstraklasa, played earlier this spring and ending in a narrow defeat – he led the line but was unable to influence the scoreline, as Jagiellonia slipped to a loss that underlined their inconsistency in front of goal.

Pululu’s profile – mobile, technically adept, and experienced at top-flight level in Poland – makes him an attractive option for Wieczysta as they look to strengthen their attack for a push up the Betclic 1 Liga.

If a deal does materialise, the move to Kraków could mark a pivotal next step in Pululu’s career, offering him the platform to reassert his value and shape his reputation as a leading forward in Polish football.
