Afif FC add Mozambique winger Angelo Tomas Cantolo for 2026-27
Mozambican winger Angelo Tomas Cantolo has joined Saudi Arabian club Afif FC from Black Bulls on loan, completing a move that takes the 23-year-old to a new country for the 2026-27 season.
Cantolo’s switch was completed on 14 August 2026, with the loan running until 30 June 2027. He will return to Black Bulls at the end of the agreement.
The right winger arrives at Afif FC after spending the first part of 2026 with Black Bulls. He joined the Mozambican club from CD Chingale on 5 January 2026, establishing himself as the latest stage of a career that has now taken him beyond Mozambique.
Born in Tete on 23 May 2003, Cantolo is a right-footed attacking player whose main position is on the right wing. His move gives Afif FC an option in a wide attacking role as they prepare for the new campaign.
The transfer marks Cantolo’s first recorded move outside Mozambique. Before joining Black Bulls, he represented CD Chingale, while his subsequent loan to Afif FC represents a further step in his senior career.
Cantolo’s stay at Afif FC is set to last through the 2026-27 season, with his agreement ending on 30 June 2027. The move remains a loan rather than a permanent transfer, keeping Black Bulls as his parent club.
The winger’s arrival also links his immediate future to Saudi Arabia after his recent spell in Mozambique. Afif FC have secured his services for the campaign, while Black Bulls retain his registration beyond the end of the loan.
Angelo Tomas Cantolo has therefore completed his loan move from Black Bulls to Afif FC, with the agreement concluding on 30 June 2027.
