Former Zamalek star, Afat Nassar, has declared the current edition of the Africa Cup of Nations as a tournament of surprises.
Speaking in a televised statement, Nassar asserted, “The final of the Africa Cup of Nations will be between Ivory Coast and Nigeria, and this edition stands out as one of the most enjoyable and thrilling in football.”
Ivory Coast’s national team achieved a major upset in the tournament, eliminating the defending champions Senegal in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in regular time.
