AFCON 2025 tickets go on sale as Yalla App launches
The countdown to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 has entered a decisive stage with the launch of ticket sales on Thursday, September 25, at 12 p.m. local time.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in collaboration with the Local Organising Committee (LOC), announced that the first sales phase will be reserved exclusively for Visa cardholders.
During this period, fans can secure their seats through the official portal, tickets.cafonline.com.
This initial window runs until Saturday, September 27 at noon, after which general sales will open later that day at 2:00 p.m. Moroccan time, with all payment methods accepted.
Sales are set to roll out in waves up until November, ensuring broad access for supporters across the continent.
One of the biggest innovations for AFCON 2025 is the launch of the Yalla app, introduced alongside ticketing.
The platform serves as a one-stop hub for fans, allowing them to obtain the mandatory Fan ID required for entry into stadiums and fan zones.
The app also integrates a unique CAN e-visa option, designed to ease travel procedures for international supporters.
Beyond logistics, Yalla will deliver exclusive tournament content and live updates, bringing fans closer to the action.
On the sporting front, the group stage draw has already set the stage for intense competition.
Host nation Morocco will open their campaign against Comoros on December 21 in Rabat, before taking on Mali and Zambia in what promises to be a tightly contested Group A.
With the continent’s best talents preparing to showcase their skills, AFCON 2025 is shaping up to be more than just a football tournament – it’s a celebration of African passion, innovation, and unity.
Fans everywhere are now counting down to a December kick-off that promises drama both on and off the pitch.
