AFCON 2025: Tanzania coach Miguel Gamondi unveils final squad for tournament

Tanzania coach Miguel Gamondi has summoned 28-man squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be held in Morocco.

The 35th edition of the continental showpiece has been scheduled to take place between December 2025 and January 2026, with 24 countries set to battle it out for the covetous trophy in the North Africa country.

However, coach, Miguel Gamondi has unveiled his squad for the tournament, with senior stars Mbwana Samatta and Simon Msuva leading the charge as the Taifa Stars aim to make a mark on the continental stage.

Tanzania has been drawn into a challenging Group C, where they will face Nigeria, Tunisia, and regional rivals Uganda.
