The Hawks of Togo have commenced their training camp in preparation for the AFCON 2025 qualifiers, with a fresh face in the squad—Geoffrey Agbolossou. On Monday, September 2, 2024, the team gathered in Kégué for their first session under the leadership of newly appointed coach Nibombé Daré, marking a new chapter for Togolese football.
For Agbolossou, this camp offers his first experience with the national team, and the young goalkeeper is already settling in well.
“I am taking it well. I am happy to be part of this selection of the Hawks. I did not expect it, but I am happy to be here,” he shared, expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity.
As Togo prepares to face Liberia on September 6 at home, Agbolossou has a message for the Togolese supporters.
“We will do our best on the pitch. I promise them that we will give the best of ourselves and that they will be proud at the end. We are working for this,” he assured.
The Hawks are gearing up for what they hope will be a successful campaign, with the young goalkeeper eager to contribute to the team’s ambitions in the upcoming AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
