The Nigerian national team has completed its preparations ahead of their crucial semi-final encounter against Morocco at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles concluded their build-up on Tuesday with a final training session at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, with the full squad in attendance.
Head coach Eric Chelle placed emphasis on both physical conditioning and tactical organisation as the team fine-tuned its approach for the high-stakes clash.
Speaking ahead of the match, star striker Victor Osimhen shrugged off talk of pressure on the Super Eagles ahead of the showdown with the host nation.
“I assure you there is no pressure within the camp. There is absolutely no pressure, and we don’t talk about this amongst ourselves. We take each match as it comes. We faced a great team like Algeria, and we delivered a performance that showed the whole world that we are ready to compete for this title. But as I always say, it won’t be easy,” Osimhen said in an interview with CBS Golazo.
Nigeria will take on hosts Morocco on Wednesday night at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 GMT, as both sides battle for a place in the AFCON final.
