Morocco are doing everything possible to get their midfielder Sofyan Amrabat for the high-stake quarterfinals clash against Cameroon at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The Atlas Lions narrowly triumphed over Tanzania in the last 16 clash, setting up a crucial tie against the Indomitable Lions, scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

It promises to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams seeking for victory to secure a place in the semifinals of the continental showpiece.

And according to reports, the medical staff of Morocco are working to prepare Sofyan Amrabat for the Cameroon showdown.

Aware of the daunting task ahead, coach Walid Regragui is bent on getting the influential midfielder ready for the match.
