The Confederation of African Football has appointed Malian referee Boubou Traore to take charge of the Round of 16 encounter between Morocco and Tanzania at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Traore will oversee the on-field proceedings, while Senegalese official Issa Sy has been named to lead the Video Assistant Referee team for the knockout fixture.
The highly anticipated clash between the hosts and Tanzania is scheduled to take place next Sunday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off set for 16:00 GMT, as Morocco look to continue their AFCON campaign in front of home support.
The Atlas Lions head into the match as clear favourites after an unbeaten run in the group stage, which saw them finish top of Group A with seven points.
Tanzania, on the other hand, failed to win any of their group matches and only finished as one of the best third-place teams.
They will be keen on putting up a fight to upset the host nation.
