The final round of group-stage fixtures at the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025, gets underway on Monday, with qualification still very much up for grabs for the majority of teams.
So far, only three nations have secured their places in the Round of 16 after recording victories in their opening two matches.
Egypt, Nigeria and Algeria have all wrapped up qualification, leaving the rest of the field battling for progression heading into the decisive final group games.
For the remaining teams, Monday’s matches will determine not only who finishes in the top two of each group to qualify automatically, but also which sides can sustain their hopes by competing for the best third-placed slots.
The tension is expected to be intense from the outset, with simultaneous kick-offs scheduled on Monday to ensure no side gains an advantage as the group-stage picture reaches its dramatic conclusion.
