Egypt, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, wrapped up their final training session in preparation for their Group B clash against South Africa at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco on Thursday.
The match is scheduled for Friday at 5 pm Cairo time.
The session saw the full squad take part, beginning with physical warm-ups before moving on to technical drills, a practice scrimmage, and shooting exercises. The training reflected Egypt’s focus and determination ahead of the high-stakes encounter.
The session was also attended by key officials, including Engineer Hani Abu Rida, Chairman of the Football Association and supervisor of the first national team, alongside board members Hamada El Sherbini, Mustafa Abu Zahra, and Mohamed Abu Hussein.
Egypt will face South Africa in the second round of the Group B stage tomorrow, aiming to secure a vital result in the tournament.
A draw for Egypt against South Africa will be enough to secure a place in the knockout stage.
