Ivory Coast, the proud host of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2024, has meticulously prepared six world-class stadiums, strategically distributed across five dynamic cities, to set the stage for an exhilarating football spectacle. From newly constructed arenas to revamped iconic venues, each stadium is primed to host riveting matches, with a knockout stage that promises unmatched excitement.

The Félix Houphouët-Boigny and Laurent Pokou stadiums will take center stage by hosting two round-of-16 clashes each during the 2023 AFCON.

Abidjan, Bouaké, and Yamoussoukro will witness the quarter-finals unfold, showcasing the nation’s fervor for the beautiful game.

Bouaké and the Ebimpé Olympic Stadium in Abidjan will be the epicenters for the CAN 2024 semi-finals, while the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium will host the third-place playoff.

The grand finale, culminating in the crowning of the AFCON 2024 champion, will unfold at the magnificent Ebimpé Stadium in Abidjan.

The distribution of group matches has been meticulously planned, ensuring a fair share of matches across all stadiums. Large-capacity arenas, prioritizing spectator experience, have been chosen to accommodate the fervent football fans.

The breakdown of group matches is as follows:

Group A: Ebimpé Olympic Stadium & Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium
Group B: Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium & Ebimpé Olympic Stadium
Group C: Yamoussoukro Stadium & Bouaké Stadium
Group D: Bouaké Stadium & Yamoussoukro Stadium
Group E: Korhogo Stadium & San Pedro Stadium
Group F: San Pedro Stadium & Korhogo Stadium

These stadiums are strategically dispersed across five vibrant cities: Abidjan, Bouaké, Korhogo, San Pedro, and Yamoussoukro. The selection of these cities is rooted in their cultural significance and their ability to host the diverse festivities associated with the tournament.

While some stadiums, like the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium, have undergone significant renovations, others, such as the Stade Alassane Ouattara (Ebimpé Olympic Stadium), stand as shining examples of new, purpose-built infrastructure, elevating Ivory Coast’s commitment to delivering an exceptional AFCON 2024 experience.

As the clock ticks down to the kickoff of AFCON 2024, Ivory Coast stands ready, with its impressive stadiums poised to become the arenas of unforgettable moments and thrilling football clashes.
