The Malagasy squad still lists 24 players, even though CAF has already received the official 23-man roster by the deadline.

Madagascar’s Barea will begin the last phase of training on Wednesday in Morocco, with the final 23-man list to be confirmed after the camp’s last friendly against Mauritania on June 15.
Two domestic players, Sandratriniaina Tobiosoa Njajanirina and Andrianavalona Andoniaina Rakotondrazaka, have already been dropped, with their replacements to be announced shortly.
Madagascar is making its first appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations, drawn in Group B alongside Guinea, Burundi, and Nigeria.
