Senegal Lions Depart for Morocco to Finalize AFCON 2015 Preparations
As per the planned schedule, the Senegal national team departed Dakar on Wednesday morning (11 a.m. GMT) en route to Al Jadidah, Morocco, where they will conduct the second phase of their preparation for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), to be held in Equatorial Guinea from January 17 to February 8.
Following Diafra Sakho’s withdrawal, 23 of the 27 selected players boarded a Royal Air Maroc flight, with an expected arrival around 3 p.m. in Rabat, before heading to their training base in Al Jadidah.

The Senegalese Lions, who faced heartbreak in Bata in 2012 and missed out on the 2013 edition, are under pressure to deliver this time. Motivated by President Macky Sall’s promise of 30 million FCFA to each player for a final victory, the team will look to rise to the occasion and bring home their first continental title
