Demba Ba will not be part of Senegal’s squad for the crucial final two matches of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, according to sources quoted by StarAfrica. Coach Alain Giresse is set to release the official list on Wednesday, November 5, and the Besiktas striker is reportedly absent due to ankle problems.
🗣️ “Demba Ba is not on the list, which will be made public on November 5th, during a press conference hosted by the Lions’ staff,” a source told Waa Sports.
In Ba’s absence, Diafra Sakho is expected to benefit. The in-form West Ham striker, who has impressed in the Premier League, is likely to earn his second cap for Senegal.
