Cameroon Squad Announced for CAN 2015 Qualifiers Against DR Congo and Ivory Coast
Cameroon head coach Volker Finke has unveiled a 25-man squad ahead of the 4th and 5th rounds of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, where the Indomitable Lions will face DR Congo and Ivory Coast.
Despite earlier reports of their absence, Franck Kom (Étoile Sportive du Sahel) and Eyong Enoh (Standard Liège) are included in the team. However, Joël Matip remains absent as he continues to reflect on his international future following the 2014 World Cup.
One notable return is Alexandre Song, who has completed his World Cup suspension and is back in the fold after missing recent outings.
Cameroon currently tops their group with 10 points, ahead of DR Congo and Ivory Coast (6 points each), and Sierra Leone (1 point).
