Neeskens Kebano: “The Semi-Final Against Ivory Coast Will Be a Battle of Desire and Determination”
Just hours before the much-anticipated 2015 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash between DR Congo and Ivory Coast, Neeskens Kebano shared his thoughts with Sudpresse. The DRC midfielder anticipates a highly physical and intense battle:
“It will be a very committed match with a lot of impact and pace, just like what always happens at the CAN. As is often the case, desire and determination will make the difference.”
Kebano, who entered in the 66th minute of the quarter-final against Congo, made an immediate impact by providing an assist in a spectacular 4-2 victory. Despite his strong performance, the former PSG youth product remains unsure of his place in the starting XI against the Elephants. But one thing is certain — he knows what kind of game to expect.
“It’s going to be a men’s game,” Kebano stated confidently, aware that the stakes are higher than ever.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. GMT in Bata, with a place in the CAN 2015 final on the line.
